Starshine Holdings Sdn Bhd (“Starshine”) & its group of companies are one of the leading manufacturers in metal roll forming products under the brand name “ASTAR”. The Group is 100% owned by ASTEEL Group Berhad, a company listed on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia.

Starshine has its humble beginning in 1998 where it started as a trading house dealing with the sale of flat steel coils & the marketing arms of ASTEEL. Later, it ventured into other steel segment products such as steel processing, trading of long steel products & manufacturing of tubes & pipes.

ASTEEL Group Berhad through its wholly subsidiary company, ASTEEL Resources Sdn Bhd, a company based on Kuching, Sarawak is one of the leading metal roofing specialist in East Malaysia whilst Starshine Group is the proxy to the metal roofing business in West Malaysia with current business coverage in the southern & central regions of West Malaysia.
